Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT) Workshops

Planning to sit the Multiple Choice STAT or Written English STAT this year?

If you’re feeling a bit nervous, haven’t sat an exam in a while or not sure what to expect and want to give yourself the best chance of success, a STAT preparation workshop could be for you.

VTAC is holding a number of full day workshops for Multiple Choice STAT and half day workshops for Written English STAT in the lead up to the sittings to help get you prepared.

Both workshops will be conducted by Dianne Read, Australia’s most experienced STAT preparation presenter who has a wealth of experience assisting adults to put their best foot forward in these admissions tests.

At the preparation workshops you will:

●  Develop test-taking strategies so you walk into the STAT ready to complete 70 questions in 2 hours.
●  Avoid the common traps and mistakes that unprepared applicants make.
●  Discover how to create the right psychological mindset
●  Learn specific problem-solving strategies for the Quantitative and Verbal questions
●  Practice and review Quantitative questions with science and maths contexts
●  Practice and review Verbal questions with language and visual contexts
●  Understand what the STAT is and how the test is used for admission purposes
●  Pull it all together and apply what you’ve learnt in a short practice test
●  Take home a pool of questions to continue your preparation
