If you are currently completing Year 12 in Victoria, you have a number of options available to receive your VCE results and ATAR at the end of the year. One of these options is to have them sent to you by SMS on the morning the results are released.
How to get your results by SMS
To register to get your results by SMS, send a text message to 19 787 888 as follows:
• VCE student number (without the letter)
• Results Service PIN (four digits)
This SMS service is provided by Salmat Digital – SMS cost $1.10 max (incl. GST). You must obtain bill payer’s permission before using this service. For help with SMS registration, please call 1800 501 083 for assistance.
The Results Service PIN is not the same as the VTAC PIN. By default, the Results Service PIN is the first four digits of your date of birth. You can change your Results Service PIN from the link in your VTAC user account, or by logging in directly to the Results Service PIN management service. See Changing your Results Service PIN for detailed instructions.
You can register to get your results via SMS from 9am, Monday 11 November until midnight, Sunday 13 December. Requests sent after this may be delayed. You will receive your results via SMS at approximately 7am, Monday 14 December. From 7am, Monday 14 December, SMS requests will be responded to with immediate results until the service closes at 5pm, Friday 18 December. Take note that SMS results are not available from overseas.

Access your results online
To view your results online, log on to resultsandatar.vic.edu.au using your VCE student number and Results Service PIN. This is a free service available from 7am, Monday 14 December until 5pm, Friday 18 December. The resultsandatar.vic.edu.au website is optimised for smart phones and other mobile devices with an internet browser.
Please be advised that the VCE Results and ATAR SMS and online services are only for 2015 results. This service is also available to current Year 11 students undertaking one or more Unit 3 & 4 sequences, however ATAR advice is only available to students who qualify for an ATAR in the current year.
Getting your results in the mail
If you are a current Year 12 student with a fully paid VTAC application, you will receive a hard copy of your ATAR statement through the post from Tuesday 15 December. If you are not a current fully paid VTAC applicant and wish to obtain a hard copy of your ATAR Statement, please fill out the ATAR request form after results are released and send it to VTAC. Note that these requests incur a $25 processing fee.
PRAS (Post Results and ATAR Service)
After you receive your VCE results and ATAR, you can contact the Post Results and ATAR Service (PRAS) if you have any questions about your VCE results, ATAR, scaling and PIN queries. The PRAS is made up of staff from both VTAC and VCAA. This service will be available:
• 7am to 5pm, Monday 14 December
• 9am to 5pm, Tuesday 15 December
• 9am to 5pm, Wednesday 16 December
The PRAS can be contacted on (03) 9032 1717 or 1800 653 080 (toll free) and via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also visit the PRAS blog at resultsandatar.wordpress.com (available from late November). Note that you cannot access your results through the PRAS.
